I can't believe that tour is going thru slipknot central and not indianapolis esp. when the The Gates Of Slumber are one of the opening acts.

I'm going!

Woohoo! They are actually playing in Indy after all! March 15 with The Gates Of Slumber and Coffinworm man this and the Megadeth/Testament show the thursday before that day is going to make my week!!!! Been listening to Pentagram nonstop since Psychomatthias sent me some of their material.

They have new tour dates?

Fuck, i'm still pissed that I couldn't go see them in Atlanta.

I think its just a one off date.

FUCK! No California dates. Oh well I'll catch them at Maryland Deathfest

ALERT/HEADS UP!!! I guess Pentagrams touring gtr player bailed last sun and they found a new guy and he only knew like 3 songs so basically between that and a jam session it was a really short set. Hopefully he will learn more songs for the rest of that tour. Oh well at least the gates of slumber had one of there best sets ever imho and coffinworm destroyed it. I highly suggest that TX metal folks see them this weekend at SXSW along with the gates of slumber.

Got this from my local hardcore board. A statement from Bobby Liebling. Im still a bit pissed cause i stayed at the show till 2400 hours and i had to get up at 0500 with just those 3 songs. It wouldn't have been so bad if they would have started right after tgos played like at 2300.

To all the devoted Pentagram fans who are planning to support us on this tour:

The day before we left for Indianapolis, circumstances beyond our control left us without a guitar player. Determined to make the tour happen for our fans, we found a guitar player willing to take on this massive responsibility with 6 hours notice. THIS TOUR IS NOT CANCELLED. Johnny Wretched of "Wretched" has graciously offered to fill Russ Strahan's shoes for this tour. An immensely talented guitar player, Johnny has taken a lot on his shoulders within the past 24 hours and has worked tirelessly to help make this tour happen. With such short notice and the incredible amount of work that is to be done in such a small amount of time, the first couple of shows (Indianapolis and Lincoln) will not have the full set list as previously planned. For this we apologize to all of our endlessly supportive fans and friends for sticking by us all the way and understanding in this time of chaos and disarray that is completely out of our control. We are working day and night to ensure that the remainder of the tour will have a sufficient set and our fans get the show they paid for.

In my 45 years as a professional musician and performer, I have never experienced an intentional, vindictive blow to my career and dignity like this, especially from someone with whom I took a chance, with no resume and a history of stepping out on other bands. None of the talented and dedicated musicians who have played beside me throughout Pentagram's history have ever displayed such an incredibly shocking lack of professionalism and and shirked out on a HUGE commitment on which the careers and personal futures of so many people depend. Being in a band is not just about playing music; it is about brotherhood and support. I have worked very hard in the past several years to pull my life and career together not only for myself, but for the people around me. I assure all of our friends and fans this would never have happened if it were up to me, Gary Isom, or Mark Ammen, and we are DETERMINED to bring the Pentagram show to the west coast & midwest on this tour. We vow to give our all as to not disappoint all of the people who support us. It would've been easier for us to just go home and cancel the tour, but I could not morally allow myself to do that and disappoint so many people.

I would like to extend my most sincere gratitude to our diehard fans, Johnny Wretched for gallantly taking on this incredible and serious responsibility, my fellow bandmates for continuing to stick by Pentagram, my flesh & blood brother Victor Griffin for his spiritual guidance and unconditional love, and the entourage for their endless support. Please remember, as I often say, without all of you, there is no me.
