I've been shitty with money this year so there's a lot of albums I still need to buy. but what were some of your favorite albums of this year?

For me, Bone Gnawer's Feast of Flesh, Acheron's The Final Conflict: Last Days of God, and Post Mortem's Message from the Dead.

Some albums I still need to get are the new ones one from Throneum, Archgoat, Gravewurm (The US band of course), Heaven and Hell, Mentors, The Chasm, Witch Tomb, Gates of Slumber, among others.

Archgoat the new slays.I seen them a few months ago.

How is the whole thing compared to Whore of Bethlehem? I've heard a few songs on your show and I loved it. I'd kill to see them live too!

That Acheron cd is pretty decent. Saw em live last summer here in Indy. I think they sound better live than on cd imho.

The new Mentors hands down! Church of Misery's new album was good but I didn't like the vocals. Those are the only two off the top of my head I know came out in 2009.
